We, the Kent Battle of Britain Museum Trust at Hawkinge needs your help!

We have the opportunity to purchase these six sets of Battle of Britain Aircrew Medals but need to raise a total of £58,000 within the next four weeks.

Thankfully Dave has already been pledged £7,000 from two organisations, so we need to raise the remaining £51,000. Can you help? Every penny counts and will help us raise as much of the funds required to stop these medals being sold into a private collection or broken up and sold as separate lots.

If we can find a way to raise this money these amazing medal groups will be displayed in RAF Gallery in the Armoury and commemorate these six airmen. Only one of whom would survive the Second World War and die in old age. One would be killed in the Battle of Britain and the other four by the end of the War.

We have the rare opportunity to protect these medals for the Nation and display them for perpetuity in the Museum.
