The inaugural meeting of the East Anglia Aviation Heritage Network which will take place at 7.30 to 8.30pm on Thursday 18th March (an online meeting via Zoom). This follows on from an Aviation Heritage Symposium hosted at RAF Marham Heritage Centre in 2019, which many aviation heritage organisations in the region attended, and at which they expressed the wish for future cooperation and opportunities to meet.

The aim of the proposed regional group is to provide local and regional ‘peer to peer’ support, discuss common issues, develop mutually beneficial projects and share best practice; very much in line with topics discussed in 2019. It is aimed at those who manage and operate publicly accessible aviation heritage sites, memorials, museums and attractions devoted to aviation history. Membership is free and this initiative is supported by Military Aviation Heritage Networks, Historic England and Aviation Heritage UK.

Anyone interested in attending or joining the group should contact the MAHN coordinator at coord@mahn.org.uk
