This Saturday, 23rd August 2025, we, the Kent Battle of Britain Museum Trust at Hawkinge (www.kbobm.org) are hosting the book launch of one of our very own volunteers’ books!

Andy Singleton is a seasoned author on model making, painting wargaming models and on Saturday he is officially launching his latest book ‘Modelling Battle of Britain Fighter Aircraft’ which has just been published by Pen and Sword. As well as a Museum Volunteer Andy is also a professional model maker as his day job!

Andy will be displaying a range of his stunning models that were made especially to illustrate the book and will be on hand to sign copies of his book / books. The Museum Shop stocks a range of Andy’s books.
