See former RAF V-bomber Avro Vulcan XL426 up close at our Visit the Vulcan Classic Jet Day. Walk round the Vulcan and for an additional fee you can enjoy a guided tour of the cockpit.

Cockpit sections of classic jets, including a Buccaneer, Phantom, Jaguar, Hunter and Scimitar will be there; also a DH Chipmunk. The cockpits will be FREE to sit in.

Squadron Leader Joe Marsden will host FREE “pilot presentations” throughout the day to talk about flying the Vulcan in RAF service.

General admission is £8.00 for adults with accompanied under-16s £2.00. Tickets will be on sale on the gate (subject to lifting of Coronavirus regulations) but are also available to buy in advance via the website - full refunds will be given should the event not go ahead for any reason.

Cockpit visits, an additional £6.00 per person for both adults and under-16s, take place every 15 minutes and are done on a timed ticket basis, so there is no need to stand and queue. The cockpit is a confined space so we will require everyone entering to wear a face covering unless they are exempt. Cockpit visit tickets are subject to availability and will only be on sale on the day.

Entry and cockpit tours are free for Vulcan Restoration Trust members subject to presenting a valid VRT membership card.

Doors open at 10.00 am with last admission at 4.00 pm.
