Horrible Histories: Up in the Air Adventure is coming to the RAF Museum this summer!

Experience the (sometimes gruesome) history of flight in our Horrible Hangars, meet fearless and foolish flyers from the history of flight, and solve the clues in this fully interactive experience for all the family.

This event has been designed with families in mind, to suit a wide range of ages, and to have lots that grown-ups will enjoy too.

We recommend that children are over 5 but we have not set an upper age limit at all. A young child might require some adult help for some aspects of the event, for example the Up in the Air challenge - one of six amazing zones to explore.

Each zone has been designed to be as accessible and fun as possible.

Each session lasts two hours and we have a special group saver ticket for 5 people, one of whom has to be an adult, for a very affordable £25.00.
