The inaugural meeting of the Midlands/Central Region Aviation Heritage Network which will take place at 7.30 to 8.30pm on Wednesday, 4th August, 2021 (an online meeting via Zoom). The aim of the new group is to provide local and regional ‘peer to peer’ support, discuss common issues, develop mutually beneficial projects and share best practice. It is aimed at those who manage and operate publicly accessible aviation heritage sites, memorials, museums, archives and attractions devoted to aviation history in the Midlands/Central region.
Membership will also give free access to promote activities on the Military Aviation Heritage Networks website and the associated Facebook page Membership is free and this initiative is supported by Military Aviation Heritage Networks, Historic England and Aviation Heritage UK.
