2 May 2026FJR2 Fallschirmjager Re-enactment Group @ Kent Battle of Britain Museum
Date: 2 May 2026 - 3 May 2026
Location: Kent Battle of Britain Museum, Hawkinge.

Date for your Diary Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd May 2026 i.e. this coming Bank Holiday Weekend.

We are pleased to announce that our good friends from the FJR2 Fallschirmjager Re-enactment Group will be display at the Kent Battle of Britain Museum Trust at Hawkinge on Saturday and Sunday (until mid afternoon on the Sunday) and alongside the Museums Junkers Ju 52/3M (CASA 352L) which carries the potential colour scheme that would have been seen on aircraft spearheading Operation Sea Lion had the invasion of Great Britain taken place in the summer of 1940.
Here are some photos of previous displays that the FJR2 Fallschirmjager Re-enactors have put on at the Museum.

We only found out late last week that the Group would be displaying at the Museum this coming weekend so hence the short notice, but it does however mean that there will be limited access to the recently restored interior of the fuselage (not the cockpit) of the Junker Ju 52/3M.
Some of the Museum Volunteers will be in period uniforms and including Mick Simms (in ARP uniform) who will be displaying his excellent ‘hands on’ Home Front Display in the Lord Dowding Memorial Hangar.
Another good friend of the Museum, Paul Chapman, should also be at the Museum on the Saturday with his beautifully restored K3 Austin Military Lorry.
