In 2025, a total of 231 volunteer groups in the United Kingdom received this award.
The King’s Award for Voluntary Service is the UK’s top honour for volunteer-led groups: it was established as the The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service in 2002, and renamed following the accession of King Charles III.
